Terms of Use
Last updated: 4 November 2026
Using the collection.
Indie Fable Index provides editorial game information to help you make your own choices. Reviews and scores are opinions; game features, platform availability and store information can change. Consult the linked official page before buying or installing a game.
Age classifications describe games and the editions named alongside them. They are distinct from difficulty or length. Parents and carers should consider a game’s content, online features and purchases when choosing with a child.
Your account and journal.
An account is optional. Use an email address you control and a secure password. Keep access details private. You can export or remove your journal and account at any time. Guest data stays on the device where it was created.
Use the service lawfully and avoid attempts to disrupt it, access another person’s journal or bypass security controls. Access may be restricted to protect accounts and keep the website available.
Editorial and artwork rights.
Original editorial text and interface design belong to this publication or their respective rights holders. Game names, artwork, screenshots and trademarks belong to their developers, publishers and other owners. Their appearance identifies and discusses the games; it does not imply endorsement.
Governing law.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any mandatory consumer rights and legal protections that apply where you live remain available.
External links and availability.
Steam purchases and other third-party services are governed by their own terms. The website does not process game purchases. We aim to keep the collection accurate and usable, but temporary interruptions and corrections may occur. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
For a correction, access issue or rights enquiry, contact the editorial desk.
